Biographical Information:
Vern Montgomery
Trainer Vern Montgomery, CDT, has
35+ years experience
in training dogs and working with animal behavioral problems. He has
worked with almost every breed of dog in both individual and class sessions.
Vern has been involved with obedience competition at all
levels, companion dog training, tracking, and agility training. He has
won several AKC and UKC obedience competitions with his own dogs. His
present dog, a golden retriever named "Cayenne", has now added Dog Dock
Diving and Hunt Test Titles to his expertise.
He supports various rescue groups, service dog organizations,
national and local Humane Societies, and the SPCA. Vern continues to
compete in a variety of dog sports.
